Pricelist for purchases

Hello,

I'm currently migrating an old database where purchases prices were built upon pricelists when they were still present. In odoo 12, all purchase prices are computed from supplier info and it lacks some functionalities that were previously existing (and still existing for sale pricelists actually). The current behavior seems crazy to me.

So before starting a new module, does someone already started working on a "fix" to reintroduce support of existing pricelist system for purchases?

Hello Yann,

Purchase price lists are a feature that was indeed very, very useful. I don't understand why they decided to replace this feature with something that I think is badly done. It's a requirement that comes up regularly with our customers. However, we always try to get around it becaus reintroducing this feature would have too much impact on Odoo's internal and would create a de facto fork. IMO this is part of the incomprehensible choices that are sometimes made by Odoo and which have the consequences of devaluing the product on certain aspects.
