Or you can create stock_picking_product_set for using such data structure of the base module (sale_product_set) for not having to install mrp. Maybe there's already a PR for that.

Add kit components in stock picking
Hi there,I'm not using sales modules currently creating delivery orders manually, do you know any module to easily add a kit in an outgoing picking ?I've seen stock_picking_product_kit_helper but reading source code it looks like it requires a sale order.I'm thinking of creating a module to open a wizard to choose the kit and quantity that would add kit components in the delivery order.What do you think?
