Thank you for the responses.   I will speak with the sales folks, but
I'm generally a larger supporter of "rolling my own" and not being
subjected to unnecessary red tape and license fees, especially for our
use, my $dayjob might pay, just because they can.   Also, the issue
that I was running into is that I couldn't purchase the enterprise
license as a self hosted on a month to month basis, I must purchase
the yearly plan, which defeats the purpose of "trying it out" more
than just the two hour demo.  Just not convinced that it's worth the
money yet.

Another way to ask the original question, does anybody on this list
run the enterprise edition and if so, are you self-hosted, or making
use of Odoo's hosting ?   Feel free to respond directly if you don't
want to share with the list.

At the end of the day, I'll have to just install it and figure out the
specifics.
