In fact there is a cashology cashdrawer simulator. It eases the developpement by avoiding the on-site sprints you mentionned. I can provide it to you if needed.

We got it working for Odoo 9.0 and 12.0.

There is a cashdrawer simulator but not sure it cover all the use cases. I get stuck with a different behaviour between the simulator and machine. If you plan some dev you'll need to have a window environment for it.
I also heard about an Odoo integration with Glory cashdrawer by the belgian BHC partner, but I suppose the code in not open source.

we are in the process of integrating POS hardware for home-delivery.Cash-drawers and printers will be important.Just now we are in the early process of creating mobile apps for the delivery-person and the kitchen for which we are using flutter.We intend to share our work eventually. ()Really, WT* is that?Where is the issue man?After 3 days of my weekend without sleep and running line by line I found that the impostor was: numpyI just uninstalled and now all is working well.The weird part is that this is a corner case issue and it is not reproduced easily.Virtualization environment with a particular kind of processor.In our case it was reproduced only and only in production environment (no staging ones)Another issue was that all processors were used 100%We just uninstalled numpy and now all is working well.The issue is only using this line: "import numpy"Even if you are not using that odoo module it line is executed and all your environment will be broken.More info about the issues:- Vx/MQT#315 (Big debug history)- numpy#17674 (more recent)- numpy#13059 (guilty I didn't sleep for 3 days)The following libraries are using numpy as dependency:- pandas- bokeh- altair- websocketSo the following OCA projects depends of numpy:- OCA/webIn fact, numpy is deprecating financial operations, we can use the following library:IMHO we should add to "numpy" in the blacklist of libraries in the OCAAnd look for other alternatives.For pandas, I know it could increase the performance to process too much recordsbut in Odoo we have PostgreSQL and maybe we could find similar results.Maybe a pipeline warning for our CI could be helpful if this library is installed.What do you think?--Moisés López CalderónMobile: (+52) 477-752-22-30Twitter: @moylop260Twitter: @vauxoo

Products by zip code?
Hello Contributors,I've looked around and haven't found a solution yet so before I move to build something I was wondering if anyone knows of a module that allows products to be available depending on the customers zip code?Here is an example...Say we are a satellite television provider so we sell tv programming and satellite equipment. We have some base programming available to all customers however depending on where the customer is located in the country, their local programming is different as well as the equipment they need.We want our sales people to not have to think or look up what products they should choose but instead the sales order products are filtered based on the customers zip code.Has anyone run into this scenario?

The problem with the anonymization is that it depends a lot on the installed set of modules. You can maybe create a generic engine that can be fed with such "anonymization rules" according to your database. I don't know if the 8.0 Therp's module performs this.Sincerely we don't have such a request, as most of the data the ERP handles are legitimate data needed for business. I only see that emails and phone numbers can be requested to be removed, and that's very simple to be done manually.Regards.

Thanks Pedro. They recommend manual anonymization, if the partner is linked to a record where the partner is required (e.g. sale.order, invoice...) This is tedious, and it is easy to miss something.
