Access rights for website content

Hi all,

We are doing some projects involving the website part with Odoo and were wondering if any of you had worked on access rights for publication of modification of content for the website?

I haven’t seen anything in the community in this line for now, but it is something that would strike me as a must for most companies.

Our need would be to lock some pages (for example the landing page) while letting users edit or create other pages or to have an approval process for publication.

I'd also be open to suggestions on the best approach to tackle this if some of you have insights.

Thanks in advance!

    Thank you Simone,

This seems to be what I was looking for! I saw the repo but I guess I did not looked at the branch 11.0.

It would be for V12 for the moment.

I'll look more closely into those modules of yours.

    Cheers,

    Ciao Quentin,

I've done quite some work on this subject here https://github.com/OCA/website-cms.

You also get a toolbar w/ all the buttons (edit/create/delete/publish) protected by permissions.

And here I have something on WIP since a while to allow automatic generation of permissions https://github.com/OCA/website-cms/pull/41 (on v11 but should be easily fwd-portable to v12/13).

It also blocks the routes which normally are working till you read something on the record.

And of course you have all the auto-magic forms you'll need to create/edit/search records.

V13 mig for core modules to be reviewed here https://github.com/OCA/website-cms/pull/111.

    Which version are you using?

    HTH, cheers,
    S.
